Susan's years of experience as a psychotherapist to individuals, couples, and families led easily into work with the larger "families" of organizations. Since learning Appreciative Inquiry, Susan has used it to help colleges, business, non-profits, professional associations and faith communities discover the power of quality relationships. A quietly charismatic individual with a cheerful personality, Susan inspires confidence, trust, and the courage to change in those who consult with her.
After many years of seeking, Susan happily converted to Catholicism. Her first book, Mystic in the Marketplace: Turning Work Into Worship (www.authorhouse.com) compares the spiritual development of individuals with the spiritual development of organizations.
Susan earned her BA in Psychology from the University of Missouri and her Master of Social Work at Temple University School of Social Administration in 1975. She lives on a farm in Gettysburg, PA and can be contacted through www.susanstarpaddock.com.
