The Five C's:
- Conversation is how work gets done
- Consensus and Decision-Making
- Conflict can be healthy and lead to innovation
- Culture determines the tone of conversation
- Courage may be needed to speak up
Many organizations have large reserves of untapped brilliance. This one-day workshop shows you how to tap into that knowledge. Participants are introduced to the Five C's which represent the underlying concepts of how a group can have constructive conversation and why it is important. This workshop is similar to the How To Collaborate In The Workplace workshop, but with additional content on how leaders can create and sustain the organizational culture that values constructive group conversation.
Session Goals - Learn:
- Why and how taking the time to 'decide how to decide' will gain greater commitment to decisions so you don't have to continually re-visit decisions you thought were made;
- What leadership behaviors support or block collaboration;
- How a leader's intent doesn't always match their impact; and
- How to apply the concepts to your organization's culture so meetings don't become endless loops of recycled information.
